Allen Kolenik, of Plainview, formerly of Hicksville, died on March 28, 2001. He was a quarter master in the US Merchant Marines for over 20 years and was retired from the Hicksville S.D. Son of the late Agnes and Alphonse Kolenik. Brother of Veronica and Arne Abrahamsen, Kathleen Bianco, John Kolenik, Virginia and Thomas Doherty. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Cremation private.
