Connie Falciano, of Plainview, died on March 2, 2001. Wife of the late Lewis. Mother of Richard, Dennis and Thomas. Grandmother of Stephanie, Christopher, Victoria, Louis and John. Mother of Michael, Sharon and Joanie. Grandmother of Carolyn and Pamela. Mother-in-law of Bob and Michael. Second mom to Kenny and Billy. The youngest of 11 children of Paul and Hilde Bochicchio, she grew up in Queensboro Hill and spent later years in Flushing and Bayside and most recently was a resident of Woodbury. Joan also co-founded Lil'Playmates Children's Program of Plainview, established in 1992 and was fondly known as "Grandma Joan." She touched all she met with her love and compassion. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Arrangements were made by the Beney Funeral Home, Syosset. Funeral Mass at Faith Lutheran Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
