Detectives in the second squad are investigating a robbery that occurred on Sept 8 in Plainview.

According to Detective Sharp, a 41-year-old victim was approached by two subjects while eating lunch in his company's truck in the parking lot of Woodbury Plaza Shopping Center, in Plainview. The victim observed the first subject, a black male in his late 20s about 5'7" and medium build wearing baggy jeans, a button-down paisley shirt was armed with a black handgun.

The second subject, a Hispanic male in his 30s about 6', thin build with short brown hair, wearing a dark pullover shirt and khaki-type pants, entered the victim's truck through the unlocked passenger door. The suspects stole the victim's two gold neck chains, wristwatch and money. Suspects fled on foot westbound on Woodbury Road.
