Congratulations to Plainview athlete Charles Kaufman, who scored as the third place finisher in the 65-69 age group in the Valley Stream Rotary 4 Mile Run held on Sunday, Aug. 12.

The 67-year-old Kaufman finished the run through the streets of Valley Stream in 36 minutes, 16 seconds, a pace of 9:04 per mile.

Kaufman is a proud member of the Greater Long Island Running Club, which has its headquarters on Dupont Place in Plainview.
