Jean Haberman, 69, formerly of Plainview, died on May 7, 2000. She was born in St. Louis, moving to Brooklyn as a child. She attended Lincoln High School and Brooklyn College where she received a degree in English. She worked at Venus and Paradise, an arts supply company. She later worked in her husband's business, Aitchess Drug Sundries Co., as an executive secretary. Wife of Harry. Mother of Barbara Haberman and Roberta Bergman. Grandmother of David Bergman.
