The second annual 5K Run/Walk will benefit the Association for Children With Down's Syndrome, Inc. (ACDS), located in Plainview. The proceeds from this event will go to improving the lives of all children and young adults with Down's syndrome and their families. The Run/Walk will take place rain or shine on Sunday, May 21. The run will start at 9 a.m., the walk will start at 9:30 a.m. The run will begin and end at Eisenhower Park - parking field #1. Registration for this event is $15 by mail and $18 the day of run.
