Nassau-Suffolk Physical Therapy, located at 6800 Jericho Turnpike in Syosset, has signed on to be a supporting sponsor of the North American Wheelchair Championship Run once again this year.

Pictured here, Wheelchair Race Director Nick Katsounis accepts the sponsorship check from Physical Therapists Phil Kreuter (l.) and Scott Belding (r.).

This will be the ninth year the Wheelchair Championship Race will be held on Long Island, with this year's edition scheduled for Sunday, June 25. The race, which attracts most of the top wheelchair racers in the world to Long Island, will start and finish at Ellsworth Allen Town Park in Farmingdale, with the bulk of the course on the Bethpage State Parkway.

Physical Therapists Phil Kreuter, Scott Belding and Bill Patridge, the principals of Nassau-Suffolk Physical Therapy, have been strong supporters of this event since its earliest days, and the wheelchair athletic community is very much appreciative of the renewed support of these truly caring health care professionals.

The 2000 Wheelchair Championship Race will be conducted by the Greater Long Island Running Club, in conjunction with the Town of Oyster Bay, with the club's Nick Katsounis once again serving as the race director.
