All county-operated golf courses will open for the spring season on Friday, March 17, weather and course conditions permitting.
The county operates three 18-hole courses at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow and nine-hole courses at Cantiague Park in Hicksville, North Woodmere Park in North Woodmere, Morley Park in Roslyn-North Hills and Bay Park in East Rockaway. Weekday fees for the 18-hole White and Blue Golf Courses are $18 for residents and $36 for nonresidents. Weekday rates for the 18-hole Red Golf Course are $20 for residents and $40 for nonresidents. Weekend and holiday fees for the White and Blue Courses are $22 for residents and $40 for nonresidents. Weekend rates for the Red Course are $24 for residents and $44 for nonresidents.
Resident senior citizens, veterans, auxiliary police, volunteer firefighters, volunteer ambulance corps and disabled pay $11 on weekdays for the White and Blue Courses and $12 for the Red Course. There are no discounts on weekends and holidays.
Weekday rates for the nine-hole course at Eisenhower Park are $11 for residents, $20 for nonresidents and $5.50 for senior citizens. Weekend and holiday rates are $12 for residents and senior citizens and $22 for nonresidents. Nine-hole courses at Bay Park, North Woodmere Park, Cantiague Park and Christopher Morley Park require a fee of $10 for residents and seniors and $20 for nonresidents on weekends and holidays and a weekday fee of $9 for residents, $18 for nonresidents and $4.50 for senior citizens, et al. A valid Nassau County Leisure Passport is required for the resident fee.
Available for rental at 9-hole courses are golf caddy carts for a fee of $2 per round and motor carts at Eisenhower Park only, at a fee of $15 for residents and $25 for nonresidents.
On the 18-hole courses, caddy carts are available for $3 per round and motor carts at $24 for residents and $34 for nonresidents. Resident senior citizens, et al., pay $18 per 18-hole round on nonholiday weekdays. The driving ranges at Cantiague Park, North Woodmere Park and Eisenhower Park will be open as well.
Reserved golf time is available at the Eisenhower courses for Nassau County residents who possess a valid Leisure Passport. The fee is $4 for 18 holes and $3 for nine holes. Persons with recent Leisure Passports are automatically pre-registered for reserved golf. Others may register via forms that are available at all golf ticket offices.
