Oyster Bay Town Councilman Len Symons asked the Greater Long Island Running Club to help out at the Memorial Day Parade in Plainview, by running ahead of the parade and passing out American Flags to the spectators along the route¬and the club was happy to respond.

Thanks go to running club members Sam Soccoli, Emma Blascovich, John, Kathleen, Lauren and Thomas Di Camillo, Eric Maas, Joanne Gallo, Bob Sherman, Norman Hershkowitz, Jack Dwyer, Newcomb Pines, Carl Grossbard, Howard Kestenbaum and Mike Polansky for helping celebrate Memorial Day in a true running fashion.
