He earned his bachelor's degree in finance from St. John's University. Mr. Skarren worked at LaBranch and Co., an investment firm in Manhattan, as a specialist broker. He held at seat on the NY Stock Exchange. He was a Boy Scout troop leader. Son of Earl Skarren of Plainview. Husband of Maryellen. Father of Thomas, Stephanie and Kerri.
