No timing, no competition, no awards...but the annual Winter Fun Run, co-hosted by the Greater Long Island Running Club and The Runner's Edge, just continues to grow from year to year! Estimates on Feb. 28 were anywhere from 200 to 250 runners who enjoyed a perfect winter run through the roads of Farmingdale and Old Bethpage, and were treated to post-race refreshments and a special gift (gloves) courtesy of the generous folks at The Runner's Edge. The run started and finished at The Runner's Edge on Main Street in "downtown" Farmingdale.
