Within the past month, it has become apparent that things are not well in the county in reference to the "in effect" Health Insurance Plan.

It is with the above in mind, that I request your office to intervene into this situation, to determine the validity and the scope of the existing problem. This intervention hopefully would be instrumental in protecting the county employees covered by this plan, thus ensuring no loss of benefits as well as possibly relieving the Nassau County taxpayer of any new or additional taxes.
