Phil Behrman, 80, a longtime resident of Plainview, died on Aug. 16, 1998. Born in Brooklyn on Dec. 26, 1917, he graduated from City College with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII in Africa, Italy and the Pacific. He received the Asiatic Pacific Service, European African Middle East Service and Good Conduct Medals. Mr. Behrman was a public accountant insurance broker and later became auditor for the State Dept. of Health retiring in 1983. He is survived by hs wife Marjorie; his children Jeanne, Debra, Laurie and Kenneth; and his sisters Esther Feldman and Frances Gardelle. Services and arrangements were made by the I.J. Morris Chapel, Dix Hills and the Norman Jeffer Community Chapel, Brooklyn. Interment Wellwood Cemetery. Donations can be made toward Parkinson's Disease research. Robert D. Reynolds, of Plainview, died on Sept. 3, 1998. A member of Plainview American Legion Post #1812, the Plainview Republican Club, he was founder of the Mid-Island Irish American Club. Husband of Gloria. Father of Pat Reynolds and Gail Grasso. Brother of George, Dennis, Sue and Lydia. Arrangements were made by the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, Plainview. Mass at Our Lady of Mercy RC Church. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery. Lucy L. Placentini, of Plainview, died on Sept. 5, 1998. Wife of Dante. Mother of Dante A. and Linda. Sister of Larry Illig. Boscaino, of Plainview, died on Sept. 11, 1998. Husband of Bella. Father of Vinny, Nicky and Ralphy. Grandfather of four. Arrangements were made by the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, Hicksville. Funeral Mass at St. Pius X RC Church. Interment St. Margaret's Cemetery. Cecil K. Telsey, of Woodbury, died on Sept. 11, 1998. Wife of Howard. Mother of Devra Smiley and Felicia Telsey. Mother-in-law of Stephen Smiley and Martin Mackinnon. Grandmother of David, Jason and Scott and granddogs Sandy and Charlie. Arrangements were made by Gutterman's Funeral Home, Woodbury.
