I am writing about the devastating effects of acid rain on the environment especially in New York state. Not only does it kill our forests, pollute our lakes, rivers and estuaries, it also affects me on a personal level. My son suffers terribly from pollution and I feel this is due in part to acid rain.

Please urge Senators D'Amato and Moynihan to press hard for legislation in this session of Congress which will halt the destruction of acid rain!
