On Saturday, May 30, the POBJFK HS Student Government will be sponsoring its annual Community their Carnival. The event will be held on the fields of POBJFK HS, which is located on Kennedy Drive in Plainview, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The carnival will include 25 booths sponsored by many of the clubs and extracurricular activities within the school. The booths include Bean Bag Toss, Face Painting, Shave the Balloon, Wet Sponge Throw and many more. We will also be renting three rides (Moon Bounce, Wacky Wax and the Giant Slide).

The event will be catered by Fireside and there will be continuous music throughout the afternoon. There will be clowns and other entertainment and prizes for all the kids. All the money raised will go to support the 35 clubs at the high school during the coming school year. In the event of rain the carnival will be moved to June 6.
