Democratic candidate for the 14th Assembly District Barbara V. Bubin-Buonagura will be the featured speaker at the next meeting of American Motoryclist Association New York State Road Riding District #34 Inc. which will be hosted by the Alliance MC Club at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hicksville, on Friday, May 1 at 8 p.m. She has been a field representative for the AMA for the past 10 years and former treasurer of the local district organization.

May is motorycle awareness month. New York District #34 extends from Montauk Point all the way upstate into Orange County. It will be attended by all the clubs registered in the district. She will be riding her Harley Davidson to this meeting. There are over 23,000 motocyclists registered in Nassau County and over 1/3 live in the 14th assembly district.

Every year the AMA sponsors a safety/awareness campaign to reduce motocycle accidents and fatalities on the roadways. She will also be discussing New York State transportation issues and medical and vehicle insurance issues that affect the voting motorcyclists of this state.
