Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs announces applications are now available for anyone interested in becoming a Goodwill Games volunteer.

The Goodwill Games, a major international sporting event will be held on July 19, through August 2, in various venues in Nassau County and New York City, including the Aquatic Center in Eisenhower Park, the Nassau Coliseum and the Mitchel Field Complex.

"Anyone looking for an exciting volunteer experience can contact my office for an application," Legislator Jacobs said. "The Goodwill Games utilizes about 6,000 volunteers and Nassau County residents can get involved in an event that will take place right in their own backyards."
