Dorothy Zervos, 37, of Plainview, died recently. She was employed by Grumman Aerospace and was a hairdresser at the Bethpage Lemon Tree. Daughter of Mary Elizabeth and the late Theodore K. Sister of Theodore J., Margaret Caplongo and Virginia Polit. Sister-in-law of Thomas Polit and Ronald Capalongo. Goddaughter of Dorothy Fittipaldi. Aunt of Kimberly, Samantha and Thomas K. Arrangements were made by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home Hicksville Chapel. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mercy RC Church. Entombment St. Charles Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Brain Tumor Society, 84 Seattle St., Boston, MA 02135-1116. Arthur Gutmanstein, 67, of Old Bethpage, died on March 12, 1998. Born in Yonkers he graduated from Yonkers High School NYU with a bachelor's degree in business. Mr. Gutmanstein worked for Judore Distributors, a national discount chain, as a merchandise manager. He was later appointed general manager of US General, a chain of retail hardware stores in Hicksville. He became general manager of Heritage Pharmaceuticals in Massapequa in 1985. Mr. Gutmanstein took part in community activities of the Democratic Party and was a member of the Plainview Jewish Center. Husband of Joyce. Father of Scott Gutmanstein of Chappaqua and Sandi Gutmanstein of Old Bethpage. Father-in-law of Alyson Gutmanstein. Brother of Janet Kohn. A memorial service was held at the Plainview Jewish Center.
