Allison Elgart Accepted Into Counseling Program

Each year a select group of upperclassmen are selected to be counselors to first-year students in freshmen dorms. Allison Stacy Elgart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Elgart of Plainview, was accepted into the Brown University residential counseling program. She is a first-semester sophomore.

Teresa Storelli Promoted

Teresa Storelli was recently promoted to sales manager in the Underwriting department of GEICO Direct in Woodbury. Teresa joined the company in 1983 as a 24 hour service counselor. She has held several positions including service trainer and supervisor in the planning department. She has a bachelor's degree from Hofstra University and is currently pursuing her MBA.

Military Information

Air Force Staff Sgt. Christopher J. Roomer, whose wife Janice is the daugther of Leonard and Roslyn Wasserman of Plainview, has arrived for duty with the 314th Recruiting Sqadron, Freeport. He is a recruiter and the son of Robert D. and Roseann E. Roome of Bethpage. The sergeant graduated in 1986 from Bethpage High School and received an associate degree in 1994 from the Community College of the Air Force.
