Bill Lawrence Stars as Disraeli at POB Public Library

A standing room only audience sat in rapt attention at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library as actor Bill Lawrence brought Benjamin Disraeli to life. Lawrence started in Disraeli, a one-man show in two acts written by Doris Willens, author of book and lyrics for the hit off-Broadway show Piano Bar.

The show, produced by Primrose Productions, is one of the many free, high quality cultural events the Library brings to the community as a public service. Upcoming performances include a TOBAY co-sponsored chamber music concert by the BowArt Quartet on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 8 p.m. and a Plaza Productions concert version of Fiddler on the Roof in early December. For information, call 938-0077.

The library is located at 999 Old Country Road, Plainview, opposite the Morton Village Plaza (938-0077).
