While the mystery picture in the Aug. 5 issue remains a mystery, the July 29 mystery-mystery photo has been identified. Christine Zangari sent an email saying, “The mystery photo (in the July 29 issue of the Enterprise Pilot) was recognized by my father, Frank Zangari, who knew right away where the picture was taken.
“Its location is the parking lot right across the street from Verelli’s Market, towards the back on the east side of the lot. This is the area on the right just before entering the alley-way that comes out across from Canterbury’s, and Buckingham’s.
“It looks like a cute little park with newly planted trees.
“So kudos go to my Dad. It wasn’t a mystery to him at all.
“I don’t know offhand where this week’s mystery photo, (Aug. 5) is placed but I have to comment.
“I’m probably wrong but it looks like one of the gorgeous homes up on Adams St. or thereabouts in that part of the Hamlet.
“It’s a beautiful picture. The house is magnificent as well as the car, and the well kept landscaping. And the folks out front look very warm, and welcoming.
“Oh, to have the wisdom of the old in today’s generations. The world would be a much nicer place,” said Ms. Zangari.
The guess was close, “but no cigar,” as the saying goes. But we thank her for the great explanation for the July 29 issue.
The next email also answered the mystery-mystery picture. “Last week, no one guessed the mystery picture, and I knew it all along. I should have called in earlier. Anyhow, last week’s mystery picture is the walkway, behind the water district, walking towards Verrelli’s Market. I know this because my children and I take that route frequently when going to Verrelli’s,” said Heather Petrizzo.
We love it when there is a mystery-mystery picture. We are really looking forward to some great answers about the photograph from the Aug. 5 issue.
Keep on guessing – it’s good for your mind.
