At the East Norwich Civic Association meeting on May 26, Treasurer Lianne Gunther reported on the Joint Civic Association party. “It was wonderful and profitable,” she said.
Although it is not a “fundraiser” per se, the two groups do end the day with a profit.
Rob Brusca, the event organizer, thanked all the merchants who contributed prizes that resulted in about $1,000 each - going to the coffers of the civics. That money will be used in a timely and considered way by those entities – for the benefit of the residents.
So we add our compliments to the merchants who keep on giving, and just a reminder to residents for us to keep on giving them our trade.
It could be called a trade off.
