Mystery Picture April 8, 2011

Reginald Butt Knows Oyster Bay

Reginald Butt called to identify the mystery picture in the March 31 issue of the Enterprise Pilot. He said, “It’s taken inside the American Legion Hall. It looks as if it is probably set up for a Memorial Day service. I know because I am the Past Commander of the Post and I set up the Memorial Day Program.” He is of course correct!

Frank Zangari called to say, “It’s Post No. 4’s Legion Hall. I belong to it.” Mr. Zangari served in the Korean War.

Billy Minicozzi, recognized the photo was of a meeting in Oyster Bay. On a sports note, he was watching the Final Four and cheering on the teams. The Final Four game was between Butler and UCONN. As readers know the final game was on Monday night, after we went to press. And Billy is still looking forward to the Mets making magic this year.

Belle Santora called last Monday afternoon to say, “I do recognize the meeting at the Italian-American Club in Oyster Bay. I know it is too late, but have a good day.”

And keep guessing, it’s good for you and great to hear from you!
