Stephen Donald Regan, 90, of the U.S. Virgin Islands and Bayville, died quietly at home on Oct. 22, 2010. Husband of 47 years to Josephine. Father of Alanna D. Regan of Port Jefferson, Sheila Sealy of Cold Spring Harbor and Dennis P. Regan of Cambridge, NY. Steve had a much traveled and storied life. Born in New York City and raised in upstate New York, Steve was a graduate of Union College and Syracuse University. He also served in the U.S. Merchant Marine before going on to serve as a first lieutenant of the Army Air Corps in WWII where he was decorated for his service in the Pacific Theater.
William J. Tedesco, 63, of Wilmington, NC, formerly of Oyster Bay, died suddenly on Oct. 21, 2010. Beloved son of Grace and Sam Tedesco. Loving brother of James Tedesco (Louise). Proud uncle of James V. Tedesco, MD (Jennifer), Lisa Crowe (Chip), Denise Tedesco, Edward Tedesco and Annmarie Tedesco. Dear great-uncle of Dominic, Maria, and Elizabeth. Also survived by loving relatives and friends. He retired as a devoted speech teacher for the Oyster Bay-East Norwich School District. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. John Patrick Feeney, formerly of Oyster Bay, died on Oct. 19, 2010. Beloved husband of Lauren. Loving father of Hope. Cherished son of Thomas Sr. and Joann Feeney. James G. Mc Niece, longtime resident of East Norwich, died peacefully on Oct. 16, 2010 at the age of 87. Mr. Mc Niece was born May 12, 1923 in the Bronx. He was the son of Peter and Anna Mc Niece. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Evelyn; his children, James (Christina), Wichita, KS, Mary Ellen (Gates) Hawn, Far Hills, NJ, Michael (Janice), Cimarron, KS, Christopher, Oyster Bay, Nancy Blacharski, Sea Cliff; along with seven grandchildren.

Alan E. Baum, 89, died on Oct. 10, 2010 at the Martin County Hospice in Stuart, FL. He was born on July 26, 1921 in Fairfield, CT, to Seymour J. and Anne Lynch Baum, the youngest of eight children.

Agnes Cawley Sordi, of Oyster Bay, died on Oct. 2, 2010. Agnes, the widow of Nicholas A. Sordi, is survived by her eight children: Roberta (David) Harper, Nicholas (Eileen) Sordi, John Sordi, Angela (Ronald) Baron, Peter (Annette) Sordi, Mary (Dale) Beckmann, Michael Sordi and Jean (Edward) Hayes. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, Oyster Bay. Joan Mary Flood, of Oyster Bay, died on Oct. 1, 2010. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was a teacher in Syosset School District for many years.
