Oyster Bay Town Councilman Chris J. Coschignano commended members of the Mill River Rod and Gun Club for offering a Coast Guard Boater Certification Course for local residents.

Boating is an activity that has long been woven into the Town of Oyster Bay fabric, making it one of the Town's most popular leisure activities.

Safety on our waterways will always be a primary concern and thanks to the caring members of the Mill River Rod & Gun Club, the need for public education about safe boating is being positively addressed.
