Bayville will run its 14th annual 5K Run to benefit breast cancer at the Women's Center at Huntington Hospital on Saturday, May 23. The runners will take off at 9 a.m. sharp from West Harbor Memorial Beach in Bayville. Runners start and finish at West Harbor Park. This is a flat 5K race, with elevations from 4 feet to 8 feet.

The race route is USAT&F certified 5K (3.107) and is sanctioned by the USATF-LI. There are splits every mile. Runners will be timed using Winning Time Chip Technology.

Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers overall. The top male and female finisher in age groups, starting 12 and under/13-19/20-24/25-29/30-34/35-39/40-44/45-49/50-54/55-59/60-64/65-69/70-plus and those physically challenged. There will be awards and refreshments following the race.

The race will be managed by Start to Finish Corporation.

On the day of the race registration is $20. Packet pickup - race day only - between 7:30 and 8:45 a.m. at the beach.

No rollerblades, skates, bicycles, baby joggers/strollers or pets will be allowed to join the race.
