On Feb. 28, the Atlantic Steamers Firehouse hosted the 10th Annual OBEN-PAL Karate Kick-A-Thon....and as usual it was an outstanding success!
There were a total of 47 children who participated kicking for one hour and set a new record of 111,021 kicks, as well as raising a grand total of $3,739.50! Thank you to all the children, their parents and the Kick-A-Thon committee for working together and making this the most successful Kick-A-Thon to date.
Karate coach Andrew Hall said, "I would like to especially thank Atlantic Steamers Firehouse for being gracious hosts. I would also like to thank the following local businesses for their donations, without whose generosity this Kick-A-Thon would not be possible:"
