Constance F. Tenney, of Locust Valley and Paul Smith's, NY, died on March 28, 2009 age 89. Wife of the late Daniel G. Tenney Jr. Mother of Constance T. Rafle (Peter), Pamela T. Simpson, Alexandra T. Potts (Arthur) and Daniel G. Tenney III (Susan). Sister of Douglas W. Franchot. Grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of five. Constance was a member of the American Red Cross, the Locust Valley Garden Club and Piping Rock Club. Reposed at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Service private. He was a member of Oyster Bay American Legion Quentin Roosevelt Post #4 and the Doubleday Babcock Seniors. Husband of Charlotte E. Brother of Robert, Raymond, George, Catherine Singmeyer and the late Frederick. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home.
