Nominating petition forms for the Oyster Bay-East Norwich CSD Board of Education are available from the District Clerk's office in the Administration Building on McCouns Lane, Oyster Bay (624-6507). Signed petitions must be handed in to the District Clerk's office in the Administration Building on McCouns Lane no later than 5 p.m. on Monday April 20, 2009.

The nominating petition must be directed to the District Clerk; must state the name and residence of the candidate; must state the residence of each signer; and this year must be signed by at least 33 qualified voters of the School District.

All candidates for seats on the Board of Education run at-large. There will be two open seats for the terms of office of board members (Dolores Grieco and Judith Wasilchuk).

The candidates receiving the next greatest number of votes will be elected to the Board of Education for a term of four years beginning July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2013.

The school district's annual election and budget vote will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009.
