How Well Do You Know the Area? Do you know where this week's picture was taken? If you do, call the Enterprise-Pilot at 747-8282 and let us know. If you have a picture that you think might be interesting for others to guess, drop it off in our box at Raynham Hall Museum, 20 East Main St., Oyster Bay.

Well, what can we say. We are going to press early - on Thursday, Dec. 18, for the Dec. 25 issue, because of the Christmas holiday. As a result we received no phone calls for the mystery picture as we went to press, but really, this is another Enterprise Pilot gift to you.
Take a good look at the mystery picture and the sign over the door gives you the name of the site, although it doesn't give the exact location.
This week it is all a gift. The picture is of the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum (OBRM) on Audrey Avenue. The photograph was taken by Kathy Prinz as part of her Oyster Festival report to OBRM members. Her husband Ben Jankowski is the OBRM board chairman.
We appreciated seeing the picture because it turns out that Lynne Karppi and her husband Robert Chute are the people in the photograph. Lynne's first stop after arriving at the Oyster Festival was to go to the OBRM to buy sweatshirts. So all things come together for good.
We are sure you too spotted the "little museum that can" and were just too busy to call.
Have a lovely holiday and keep laughing. It's the best medicine. Just remember, the world is our oyster (Oyster Bay). - DFK
