How Well Do You Know the Area? Do you know where this week’s picture was taken? If you do, call the Enterprise-Pilot at 747-8282 and let us know. If you have a picture that you think might be interesting for others to guess, drop it off in our box at Raynham Hall Museum, 20 East Main St., Oyster Bay.

Belle Santora identified the mystery picture in the Sept. 18 issue of the Enterprise Pilot saying, "I believe this is the top of the gazebo with the sea grass all around." She is correct!

We said we thought the picture looked like a flying saucer and she agreed.

Billy Minicozzi guessed it was the gazebo in Centre Island Beach in Bayville. On a sports note he said, "This is the last year for Yankee Stadium. They get a new stadium next year. It has been there for 62 years."

We remember going to Yankee Stadium and walking in late to hear the crowd roaring after Ted Williams hit a home run! It's wonderful that everyone has their own memories of the stadium to cherish. - DFK
