The Boys & Girl Club of Oyster Bay East Norwich will be reintroducing the popular Boys' Intramural Basketball Program this fall under the instruction of Michael Glancy, league coordinator. Registration begins on Aug. 1. Registration forms may be picked up at the Boys & Girls Clubhouse and must be mailed with payment. This program is open to all boys in grades 4th through 8th. The grades will be split in two divisions-fourth and fifth and sixth through eighth.

Practices will start the week of Sept. 15, with games beginning the week of Sept. 29 and continuing through the week of Nov. 17. Practices for 4th and 5th grades are Mondays, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. or 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Games for 4th and 5th grades are scheduled for Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m. Practices for 6th, 7th and 8th grades will be on Tuesdays, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. or 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Games for 6th, 7th and 8th grades are scheduled for Wednesdays between 6 and 9 p.m.

Registration fees are $75 for league play, plus a current Club membership of $35. Membership is valid for June 1, 2007, through May 31, 2009.
