How Well Do You Know the Area? Do you know where this week’s picture was taken? If you do, call the Enterprise-Pilot at 747-8282 and let us know. If you have a picture that you think might be interesting for others to guess, drop it off in our box at Raynham Hall Museum, 20 East Main St., Oyster Bay.

Billy Minicozzi called to identify the June 26 mystery picture. "It's the walkway on Jakobson's Shipyard." On a sports note, he was glad the Boston Celtics won the NBA championship. "They were last, last year," he said.

Richard Oaks of Bayville said, "It's in the waterfront center area, and was taken on Bay Day because of the clam truck, you can see in the picture. The Crabman was parked there for that day."

Belle Santora said, "I just turned 97 on Friday! I can't believe it. I know the mystery picture. It's the ramp down at the Western Waterfront they built on the side of the little park across from Beekman Beach - directly in front of the brick DEC office."

They are all wonderful answers and greatly delineate the location. Thank you to all three callers. - DFK
