Caroline Du Bois called to say, "The mystery picture of June 19 is the little pony cart that is used at the O'Neill's garden party for the Community Foundation of Oyster Bay." She and her mother attended and were pictured in the article about the fundraiser for the Community Foundation of Oyster Bay.
Elizabeth Clark, said, it was the George O'Neill house in Oyster Bay Cove. "I'm glad to recognize it. Do I win something?" she asked. "Just your name in bold type in the newspaper," we said. "Oh well, I just had to call to identify it."
Jack Scheich made a good guess suggesting the June 19 photo was a side view of Coe Hall at Planting Fields Arboretum. Again, it is interesting since there is a brick interior courtyard at the back of Coe Hall.
Billy Minicozzi guessed it was a block party in Bayville. He wished good luck to the New York Islanders in their hockey draft. "They pick fifth. Hopefully they will get a good player from the draft," he said.
