Jean R. Tornatore, 76, of Bayville, died on May 26, 2008. Wife of Salvatore. Mother of Debra Mancura, Robert and Victoria Porteus (Kevin). Grandmother of Zachary and Jessica Lynn. Sister of Rosemarie Swain (Howard), Dorothy Reiss, Mary Bernal (Martin), Arlene Carco (Joseph), Barbar Tszkalas (William), Karia Lysiak (Kenny), John Paul Hubner (Carol) and the late William Hubner and Blanche Wagner. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral service at the Village Church of Bayville. Interment private.

Michael T. Bonanza, 79, of Hagerstown, IN, died Tuesday, May 27, 2007, as a result of cancer. Born October 7, 1928, in Oyster Bay, Mr. Bonanza grew up in Oyster Bay, graduated from Oyster Bay High School, and worked as an air conditioning specialist for the New York Telephone Company.

Mr. Bonanza enjoyed boating, fishing, clamming and all kinds of sports, plus all kinds of craftsmanship at which he excelled. In Oyster Bay, he met and married Elaine Polyblank, and together they enjoyed lovingly raising their three children. Mr. Bonanza touched many lives in the community through coaching youth sports, leading the OBHS Boosters' Club, and volunteering with the Atlantic Steamer Fire Company. While on Long Island, the couple attended Northport Baptist Church.

Upon retiring, the couple moved to Florida, where they were members of Palm Coast United Methodist Church and Melbourne First Church of the Nazarene. Mr. Bonanza was preceded in death by Elaine, in 1999, after 51 years of marriage. He later married Nancy Blevins, and the couple relocated to Indiana, where he enjoyed playing the organ, reading, woodworking, and serving in many capacities with their beloved church family at Hagerstown Church of the Nazarene. He and Nancy enjoyed hosting friends from far and near in the beautiful home they made together.

Mr. Bonanza is survived by his wife Nancy, his son Jan (wife Melanie) Bonanza of Staatsburg, NY, his daughter Laurie (husband John) Pianta of Deep River, CT, and his son Todd (wife Sandy) Bonanza of Palm Bay, FL, as well as his step-sons David (wife Amber) Blevins and Darrin Blevins, and his step-daughter Lanell (husband Barry) Stitt, all of Hagerstown, IN. He is survived by 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is survived by one sister Carmella Rima of Center Moriches, NY, and was preceded in death by his other sister, Mary Watson.

A memorial service will be held Saturday June 14, 11 a.m., at Hagerstown Church of the Nazarene, in Hagerstown, IN, with Rev. Robert Fannin officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 1261 W 86th Street, Suite E-2, Indianapolis, IN, 46260.
