The Rough Riders are on a roll. Four straight games and four tremendous victories! Their fourth game was played on Sunday, April 27 at home against Seaford. The Rough Riders were amazing; driving for the net continuously they didn't give Seaford a chance to catch their breath. Final score was 9 to 6.
Once again the Rough Riders dominated their opponent and kept the ball in the offensive zone for most of the game on Sunday, April 27. The scoring started early in the first period with a beautiful shot from Oliver Fornell, the first of his hat trick, off a great feed by Charlie Schueler. The midfield play of Kyle Cronauer, Bobby Maddia and Blake Meyer kept the ball in motion and the shots on goal. Two more goals on the season for Blake Meyer and another goal for Jesse Marksohn shows how explosive these middies can be.
Quinn McQuade scored the first goal of the day for the attackmen on a nice assist by Zach Greenspan. Zach added a goal to the 8 to 3 rout in the 4th quarter.
When called upon, the defense, once again led by Michael Ferris, Corey Palladino and Kyle McLaughlin, all but shut down the Half Hollow Hills offense. Dan Rivas was not taxed in goal, but came up big when needed.
