John P. Pagliaccio, 82, a long-standing resident of Bayville, died on March 14, 2008. Husband of the late Nina. Father of John (Lynn), Elliot (Wendy) and Joseph (Dale). Grandfather of Sarah Morton (Jake), Libby, David, Isabel and Julian. Brother of Victoria Golofaro, Rudolph and the late Anthony and Marie Page. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

John was very active in his life and was a long-standing member of the Bayville community. He owned and operated the Astoria Dress Company, Queens, a family-run business, for over 30 years. He served as a civilian member of the NC Police Department. He served in WWII and received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy. He volunteered with the NC Meals on Wheels Program, was a volunteer of Glen Cove Hospital, an active member of the Bayville American Legion, a member of St. Gertrude's Parish and a founding member of the Bayville Youth Football and Little League Baseball Leagues. In addition to all his volunteering, he was an avid reader and patron of the Bayville Library and refinished furniture, amongst other hobbies.

Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Gertrude's RC Church. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. Donations to the Don Monti Cancer Center Memorial Research Foundation, c/o North Shore University Hospital at Glen Cove, 300 Community Drive, Manhasset, NY 11030 would be appreciated.

Philip "Phil" Robinson, 76, of East Norwich, died on March 20, 2008. Husband of Norma. Father of Bonnie Lee Robinson-Gallaro (Gregory), Thomas D. (Debra) and James P. (Mary). Poppy of Thomas, Jake, Jillian, Dillon, Cory and Cosmo. Brother of Gerry, Al, Joann Sarro, William and the late John and Alice Rhodes. Also survived by friends and relatives. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Dominic's RC Chapel. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery.
