Michele Gee correctly identified the Feb. 14 mystery picture. "It's the St. Dominic Church Parish Center. I couldn't believe no one identified it. I work there and when I saw it, I said, 'Everyone will get that.' I'm a first time caller," she added.
We were glad she called!
Robert P. McEvoy called to also identify the Feb. 14 picture. He said, he saw the picture but didn't get to call. "I was at a funeral Mass at the St. Dominic Chapel on Thursday and, had to park near the corner and looked and saw the building and said, it had to be it, and nobody had guessed it, so I called." Mr. McEvoy also recognized the Feb. 21 mystery picture. "It's the breakwater down at the parking field where they launch the boats - with Centre Island in the background."

Dave McLaughlin called to identify the mystery-mystery picture of Feb. 14. "It's St. Dominic's Parish office," he said. We asked about Dodds & Eder that he and his brother Joe own, and he said, "Business is great. We had a great year and are looking forward to spring. From a landscaping point of view we are really waiting for spring. Just like the bumper sticker says: 'Live, Work and Play in Oyster Bay.' You really take care of the place you live and work, here more so than any other community you can find," he said. "It's a very special place," he added.
Billy Minicozzi missed the mystery picture location but was right on when he said, "Baseball is in the air. I'm a Mets fan and my cousin David Agostinello is a Yankees fan." It adds some spice to the games.
Emily Saili, 6, said, "The picture is of the rocks at Teddy Roosevelt beach!" She rocks!
