Registration at the Cantiague rink will take place seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will continue until classes are filled. Classes are open only to Nassau County residents, and Leisure Passes are required (those under 13 years of age may use their parent's Leisure Pass number). Checks may be made payable to "Treasurer of Nassau County."
Cantiague's indoor ice skating rink is a magnificent facility that is used by recreational skaters and hockey teams. The rink has also played host to Olympic gold medalists such as Nancy Kerrigan, who performed there in 2004, and was the New York Islanders (National Hockey League) practice facility from 1979 to 1992. Ice skating sessions take place daily, and birthday parties may also be arranged during public sessions. For more information, call 571-7056.
