Valerie Basta called to identify the Jan. 24 mystery picture. She said, "It's the pretty Victorian house across from Oyster Bay High School."

Paul Keller said, "I believe the house is on East Main Street, opposite the Oyster Bay High School. I could be right and could be wrong." He added, "Have a happy new year!"

Both callers are correct. The picture was taken at night and so was a challenge to identify.

Thomas Power also identified the mystery photo. He said, "It's directly across the street from the main entrance to the Oyster Bay High School on East Main Street."

Billie Minicozzi, too, recognized the big white house in Oyster Bay.
