How Well Do You Know the Area? Do you know where this week’s picture was taken? If you do, call the Enterprise-Pilot at 747-8282 and let us know. If you have a picture that you think might be interesting for others to guess, drop it off in our box at Raynham Hall Museum, 20 East Main St., Oyster Bay.

Marilyn DeP. [we are not sure of the spelling of her last name] identified the mystery picture in the Jan. 17 issue of the Enterprise Pilot. She said, "It is the corner of Burtis Avenue, looking down to McCouns Lane from the hill right beyond Ivy Street."

She is absolutely correct.

Billy Minicozzi guessed the location was in Upper Brookville in the Planting Fields area. As for sports - the Giants, he was rooting for them as they played in very cold weather last weekend in Green Bay. The Giants won, just as he hoped.

Myron Spinella offered another ID of the photo. He said, "It is my belief it is Cleft Road going east to the traffic light on West Shore Rd. and Cleft Road." That was another good guess. It is hard to tell just where the shrubbery is located. Thank you all for trying. Have a great week. - DFK
