Sophomore forward Kirsty Stearns (East Norwich, NY/Oyster Bay HS) and the Moravian College women's basketball team are ranked in free throw percentage in the first NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2007-08 season.

Stearns is tied for eighth in the nation in free throw percentage at 96.4 percent for the season. Stearns is 27 of 28 at the line in eight games.

Moravian is ranked 38th in free throw percentage this season at 73.9 percent, making 156 of 211 free throw attempts.

The Greyhounds, who are 5-3 overall and 1-0 in Landmark Conference action, were scheduled to return to the court on Wednesday, Jan. 2 in a non-conference game versus Wilkes University tipping off in Johnston Hall at 7 p.m.
