Joint OBEN Civics Meet on November 15 to Hear the Pros and Cons of TR Museum
There will be a joint meeting of the Oyster Bay and East Norwich Civic Associations on Thursday, Nov. 15 at the Italian-American Club on Summit Street starting at 7:30 p.m. The meeting is to discuss the full issue, both the pros and cons of the proposed Theodore Roosevelt Museum.

Save the Jewel By the Bay Recognizes TOB Officials
Save the Jewel By the Bay (SJBB) co-founders Kathryn Prinz, Ben Jankowski and Rita Pecora made a presentation of gratitude to Town Supervisor John Venditto and town board members prior to the Oct. 16 board meeting. Many of the members of SJBB were there to add their voices in thanks to the elected officials.

From Shaping Lives to Saving Lives
Oyster Bay High School Principal, Dr. Dennis O'Hara, has dedicated his life to helping shape the lives of the students of Oyster Bay East Norwich. What many people do not know is that Dr. O'Hara spends his summers saving lives. Since 1995, Dr. O'Hara has been a lifeguard on Long Island's ocean shores.

OBEN PAL Kick-A-Thon Raises $4,800 for Kids-at-Risk
On Saturday Oct. 13, over 100 martial arts schools participated in the Sixth Annual National Martial Arts Day World Record Kick-A-Thon to benefit the Project Action Foundation. The studios collectively tried to break the current world record of 8.3 million kicks thrown in one hour nationwide.
