The 24th Annual Oyster Festival takes place on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 13 and 14 at the Theodore Roosevelt Park, on the waterfront in Oyster Bay and in the hamlet on Audrey Avenue, "Main Street USA" from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is no entrance fee. FULL STORY

On Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007 the Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto signed a Memorandum of Understanding between itself and the Theodore Roosevelt Association to create a TR Presidential Museum and Research Center in Oyster Bay. It was an historic moment for Oyster Bay. FULL STORY

Oysters are believed to be an aphrodisiac that may cause people to fall in love and there are many people who come to The Oyster Festival each year because they have fallen in love with oysters and being near the harbor. FULL STORY

Once again this year the "kickoff" event for the Oyster Festival will be the Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor's 5 Kilometer Run held on Saturday, Oct. 13. The run is organized by Greater Long Island Running Club. FULL STORY
