How Well Do You Know the Area? Do you know where this week’s picture was taken? If you do, call the Enterprise-Pilot at 747-8282 and let us know. If you have a picture that you think might be interesting for others to guess, drop it off in our box at Raynham Hall Museum, 20 East Main St., Oyster Bay.

Paige Dawson called on Thursday, to identify the picture in the Aug. 23 issue of the Oyster Bay Enterprise Pilot. "It's the fountain in the parking lot at Harbor House. I was there for a meeting last night (Wednesday, Aug. 22) of the Oyster Festival committee. This is the first year I am on the committee and it is now down to having meetings every week."

Ms. Dawson is the Oyster Bay Chamber of Commerce's representative to the Oyster Festival. She also volunteers at their Tuesday Cruise Nights. She said, "The car show was on News 12 on Aug. 23. They interviewed Alex (Gallego, chamber president) and Austin (Azzaretto, Cruise Night chair). I got to do a walkthrough. I'm there wearing my capris, walking by."

She said she looked at the mystery picture when she arrived at her office at Century 21 Laffey Associates. "I get it here at the office and I just cracked it open and had to call," said Ms. Dawson.

Billy Minicozzi called saying he was just back from a mini-vacation. On a sports note he said, "In two weeks the football season starts. I hope the Giants and Jets do well."

Robert Kramer called to identify the mystery picture. He said, "It is at the Oyster Bay Manor in Oyster Bay. It's a nursing home and my wife volunteers there every Wednesday so she sees it each week."

Joan Kramer said on Friday that she was just on her way back to the manor. She said she really enjoys volunteering at Oyster Bay Manor. "I see all my friends there. I run the Bingo. I'm the Bingo-Lady."

Ann Albro of Bayville called. She said, "It's the water fountain in front of Harbor House. I go and visit Margaret Kelly, a Center Island resident who now lives at Harbor House. I visit her every day. She was my teacher, and is Linda Blazer's aunt. Linda is a good friend of mine, also from Centre Island. Ms. Kelly is 93 and doing as well as expected at that age."

And you've all done very well in giving interesting answers to the mystery picture. Thank you to everyone who answered and made for a sweet mystery column.
