The Relay for Life was a showcase for the entire Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central School District. It threw together members of the community - of all ages - connected to the school through the children and the families that have faced the challenge of cancer.

OB-EN Voters Okay the Budget
OB-EN School Board Vice President Robin Dando gave a whoop, "Yeah!" after reading aloud the numbers that approved the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central School District budget for 2007-2008. The budget passed by about 376 votes.

Bay Day: Children's Activities, Music, Anything That Floats
The WaterFront Center will host its 7th annual free Bay Day event on Sunday, June 3, at Beekman Beach in Oyster Bay between 11 am and 4 pm. "We're happy to once again offer a musical component to Bay Day," says Gaye Verdi, executive director of The WaterFront Center. This year three talented singer songwriters will take the stage. The Grayson Sanders Band, Bo Armstrong, and Nate Gravel will each perform. "Participants are asked to bring lawn chairs or beach blankets and to remember the sun screen," explains Verdi.
