OBHS Alumni Set to Entertain at the Relay for Life Gala Event
A full night of entertainment is planned for the Relay for Life benefit event to take place at the James H. Vernon School on Friday, May 18. The evening begins with a reception for cancer survivors. Children from the Building Blocks preschool will sing followed by the Oyster Bay High School Chamber Singers.

TR's Presence is Visible at New York's American Museum of Natural History
(My dad used to take my brother and me to the American Museum of Natural History in New York City when we were little. When he was small himself, my dad used to take the train in from Brooklyn to see the Saturday matinee shows at the old Hayden Planetarium before walking home across the Williamsburg Bridge with friends. What I saw at the American Museum of Natural History with Mayr Ann (my friend) on President's Day, this year, made me think, "Hey, Theodore Roosevelt really is ubiquitous, that's kinda cool.")

On Wednesday, May 16, the Wednesday evening spring sailboat race series begins through Sagamore Yacht Club. Over the past few weeks captains have been gearing up their boats and several crews have already participated in one or two practice races.
