Abandoned Boat First Donation for Oyster Bay Harbor Cleanup
A boat abandoned in Mill Creek is first on the list of debris that will be removed from Oyster Bay Harbor on Saturday, May 19, the annual Oyster Bay Harbor Cleanup Day. The April 15/16 Nor'easter carried the motorboat under the Beekman Beach bridge and into the Mill Pond Creek where it was trapped for several days.

Four Eagles Spotted in Oyster Bay
On the sunny morning of April 14, Oyster Bay Boy Scout Troop 253 gathered at Oyster Bay High School for an Eagle Ceremony. Christopher Beardsley, Trevor Collins, Alex Maccaro, and Sean Manning are four Scouts who have achieved the highest rank of Boy Scouting, Eagle Scout.

Rough Rider Lacrosse News
The Rough Rider 6th grade Lacrosse team controlled the ball well against Wantagh, playing as a tight unit throughout the game. The midfielders, led by John Alogna, moved the ball looking for high percentage shots. Wantagh was able to keep the Riders at bay for over 2 quarters despite excellent play by Tyler Ozkan, Ryan Gouse, Kyle Cartwright, Brian Kowalczyk , Ryan Curran and Andrew Asgeirsson at Midfield.

Sagamore Soundings
In nearly all maritime related organizations there are customs. Many rituals help build camaraderie among staff, crew, and members. Furthermore, some traditions also reflect the functions of running an organization. On April 16 the Oyster Bay Power and Sail Squadron carried out a maritime tradition in our community at Sagamore Yacht Club for its annual Change of Watch Dinner and Ceremony.
