The Sagamore Yacht Club held an open house on Sunday, March 25 to show members and guests their newly renovated first floor. On the first floor, new windows have been installed to take full advantage of the "million dollar views" of Oyster Bay Harbor. The walls have been painted a dark blue. The WaterFront Center kicked off its season with a free Earth Day celebration sail upon the Oyster Sloop Christeen. The Christeen went on her first sail of the season on Sunday, April 21 from 1 to 4 p.m. All the reservations were booked in a twinkling. Bayville will run its annual 5K Run to benefit breast cancer at the Women's Center at Huntington Hospital on Saturday, May 19. The race is sponsored by IGA/The Food Basket. The runners will take off at 9 a.m. sharp from West Harbor Memorial Beach in Bayville. Runners start and finish at West Harbor Park. FULL STORY
