TR Park Master Plan Is Presented
Marie Knight, president of the Oyster Bay Civic Association (OBCA) introduced architect Louis Baldino to the Oyster Bay Town Board at their Sept. 26 hearing. Mr. Baldino presented his plan, funded by the OBCA to renovate Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park - without a carousel. His plan maintains the original entrance to the park.

'Save Our Sanctuary by the Sea!'
The Citizens for the Preservation of Open Space (CPOS) at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park spoke at the Sept. 26 meeting at town hall. Their presentation was followed by the Oyster Bay Civic Association proposal for a rejuvenated TR Park with a bandstand on the jetty; a fountain; and a welcoming statue of TR - while maintaining the serenity of the park - and without a carousel.

There is a distinct nip in the air and in the water. The cool shift in weather is a cue to many boaters to pull up anchor and put away their boats for the winter, but not so fast. Oyster Bay-East Norwich Soccer Club News
The Oyster Bay Storm continue their winning ways by beating Hewlet Blue Strike 4 to 0 on Saturday. On Sunday, they won their state cup game giving them the right to continue by traveling to Lake George to face their next opponent in the search of the State Cup.
